The goal of the D/OS project is to create a working operating system written primarily in the D programming language. D/OS will be an innovative operating system, with the D language facilitating fresh approaches to memory management and other aspects of system design. D/OS is an open source software project, and it is our goal that D/OS may serve as a platform for developing innovative new solutions which other open source operating systems can benefit from.
